Time does fly when you are having fun
Today Grant and I are celebrating our 6th year of marriage. We started our special day with a workout at the Y, then we took a drive up into the Forks of the Credit. The snow covers everything, but the bare trees allowed us to peer in at the beautiful, isolated houses we wish we could own. We stopped at the Belfountain Inn for a mea (an omelette for him, mussels for me)and watched the flurries of snow fall out the window as we warmed ourselves by the fire. After lunch, we returned home, to a demanding, yet adorable dog and our own cozy hearth. We exchanged our gifts: a card with our traditional anniversary love letter enclosed. My anniversary/Valentines flowers are right in front of me as I type, my husband is across the room surfing the internets. I am content. And a very lucky woman.
I love you, Sweety. Thank you for being my husband, my lover and my best friend. You are my rock and my anchor. You are the string of the kite that lets me to fly high and still come home safe and sound.
